Special Education Teacher | Lower Lake

This position carries the rewarding responsibility of guiding a caseload of 14 students within a supportive and resource-rich environment. The workday encompasses 7.5 hours of instructional time plus a weekly staff meeting, all structured within a 186-day school calendar.

• CTC Certification is required
• Professional experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally with early elementary (K-4) students
• Proven ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with families, staff, and other specialists
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment

• Deliver high‑quality, differentiated instruction for ESN (Extensive Support Needs) students in K‑4th grades
• Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Assess student progress and adjust strategies according to learning goals
• Engage in weekly staff meetings and ongoing professional development
• Liaise with families to ensure a holistic and consistent support system
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
