Substitute Teacher
Kern High School District is hiring substitutes on an as needed basis. Applications will be accepted periodically for the following substitute classifications. The following is required and must be submitted:
High School Diploma/G.E.D. or proof of passing District Proficiency test in areas of Reading, Writing, and Mathematics
You will need to meet the following clearances:
- Fingerprint clearance (FBI and DOJ background check)
- Some classifications do require passing a pre-employment physical (provided by KHSD) in addition to special training
- Verification of Freedom from Tuberculosis (TB) which is valid for 4 years
