We are seeking an experienced and licensed Civil Engineer (PE) with 5–10 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven project management skills, and the ability to deliver innovative engineering solutions for a variety of public and private projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead design efforts, mentor junior staff, and make a tangible impact on infrastructure, development, and community-focused projects.
Designand Drafting
- Work with the design team to develop and oversee engineering project designs for grading, drainage, roadways, and utilities.
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, design plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software for detailed project design.
- Prepare technical reports, design specifications, and cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with California environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain organized records of engineering plans and revisions.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other project stakeholders.
- Work with cross-disciplinary teams, including surveyors, architects, and planners.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise and recommendations.
- Review engineering plans for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Conduct field inspections and assist in resolving design-related issues.
- Implement engineering best practices to improve efficiency and project outcomes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers and technical staff.
- Assist in training junior engineers on design processes and regulatory standards.
- Support senior engineers in developing project strategies and execution plans.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- California P.E. license in Civil Engineering is required
- Must possess 5-10 years’ experience in Civil Engineering
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Civil3D
- Public Agencies, Grading Plans, Hydrology, & Land Development is a plus.
