We’re thrilled to be partnering exclusively with Electro-Mech Components, a Tier 1 aerospace organization renowned for its highly reliable potentiometer switches, push button switches, split-image switches, illuminated push-button switches & multi-switch assemblies, to find a Senior Sales Application Engineer to work directly with OEMs on critical product modifications.

This is your chance to be on the front lines of aviation innovation, owning onsite technical solutions for mission-critical hardware used in aircraft cockpits around the world.

Responsibilities of the Senior Sales Application Engineer

Serve as the technical authority on potentiometer switches, push button switches, split-image switches, illuminated push-button switches & multi-switch assemblies, focusing on modification and customization of existing components.

Evaluate and implement customer-driven design modifications, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with stringent aerospace standards (e.g., DO160, Mil-STD-202, AS9100).

Lead product configuration management processes, including configuration identification, control, status accounting, and verification/audit, in accordance with AS9100.

Work directly with the customer, prepare and manage technical proposals, including cost, scope, and schedule estimates for customer-requested modifications.

Maintain full traceability of design changes and manage related documentation to support lifecycle reliability, compliance audits, and future upgrades.

Requirements for the Senior Sales Application Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field;
Master’s degree is a plus.

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in aerospace and defense (A&D), specifically working with electromechanical controls and switches.

A CMII or equivalent Configuration Management certification is desirable.

Experience in project management is also preferred.
