SQL Developer With Wonderware

Location:

Bakersfield, CA

Duration: 6+ Months/Fulltime

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work within the Wonderware Team to develop, test, deliver, commission, and support SCADA and supporting applications
• Provide consulting services remotely and at our customer locations
• Perform system maintenance and operational changes/improvements under an established Management of Change (MOC) process
• Proactive system support, working closely with our customers SCADA and/or Control room managers
• Troubleshoot software and system components, from field device communication to the data historian, using available in-house and online support resources.

Required Skills:

• Experience with the following Wonderware products:
  InTouch, System Platform, Wonderware Historian (Industrial SQL), Wonderware Historian Client
• Experience with MS SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services
• Experience with C# and/or  development environment
• Knowledge of best-practice Automation strategies, implementations, and designs
• General understanding of pipeline control systems as applied to real-time data acquisition, display, and integration into data historians
• Excellent verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work well in teams
• Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment
• Willing to travel up to 30% as required and has an excellent driving record

Desirable

Skills:

• Experience with all or some of the following software and hardware: PLCs, Flow Computers, Auto-Sol AES OPC Server, Wonderware West Universal Server (USS), Kepware
• Win
  911, Top-Server, Flo-Cal Measurement System is a plus
• Basic understanding of networks and ability to troubleshoot common outages
