Position Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and friendly Event Brand Ambassador to represent a nonprofit organization at the Kern County Fair. This on-site role involves engaging with event attendees, promoting awareness of organ donation, and creating a positive experience through energetic interaction and promotional activities. The ideal candidate will embody enthusiasm, professionalism, and approachability while wearing a fun character costume.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with setting up and breaking down the event booth and display areas
• Wear the Pink Donor Dot costume throughout the event
• Interact with attendees in a friendly, approachable manner to promote organ donation awareness
• Invite attendees to visit the donor booth and learn more about the cause
• Foster a welcoming environment and encourage conversations around organ donation
• Help create an engaging and positive experience for all event visitors

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or a related role
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the event
• Comfortable wearing a costume for several hours
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, busy environment

Preferred

Skills & Experience:

• Outgoing personality with confidence in public interactions
• Experience working in event promotions or mascot roles
• Ability to maintain a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor throughout the shift
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and assist with light setup and breakdown activities
