About the Position

Shift: 12H Nights Nights, EOW, first to float

Description:

Unit  is a NURSE SHIFT MANAGER POSITION.
** Manager Interviews**-No first time traveler--Must have been charge RN in last assignment
- ** 3 weeks of orientation
** 1st week is classroom and the following 2 are unit orientations

Role  position is a blend of charge nurse, clinical mentor, and manager responsibilities. The clinician provides on-shift leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care while supporting staff and promoting a positive work environment. They round on patients, address service or safety concerns, and serve as a resource for both clinical and interpersonal issues. The clinician will also take charge nurse assignments as needed, depending on census and staffing levels.

Cancellation  can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks (Hospital may also pay full hours for a particular shift, in lieu of cancellation). Charting  BSN  License to  Trauma Level: Care   Shift , EOW, first to float Required , BLS (AHA), NIHSS - AHA or APEX Guaranteed
