Job Title: Cath Lab Tech
Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
Shift: 10-hour shifts, Every Other Weekend (EOW), first to float, call required
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of current Cath Lab experience
• Licensure: Active license to submit
• Certifications: ARRT, BLS, Fluoroscopy
• First-Time Travelers: Not accepted

Certifications & Skills:

• ARRT, Fluoroscopy, BLS required
• Must be comfortable with:
  • Conscious and moderate sedation
  • Procedural processes and airway management
  • Cardiac drips (Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors)
  • Balloon pumps
• STEMI receiving facility experience required
• Procedural scope includes:
  Cardiac/Coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention

Unit Details:

• Number of Suites/Labs: 5 total
  • 2 suites:
    Coronary cases
  • 1 suite:
    Peripheral cases
  • 1 suite:
    Vascular & Neuro cases
  • 1 suite: EP cases
• Average Daily Cases: 10–22 total

Call Requirements:

• Weeknights: Rotating call for inpatient and emergent cases (approximately 1x/week)
• Weekends: 1 weekend per month (Friday evening through Monday AM). Subject to change based on unit needs.
