Job Description

We are seeking a Training and Recruitment Specialist to join our Human Capital team! The Training and Recruitment Specialist will serve as an in‑house trainer and facilitator for all company training and events. The role will support the organization and coordination of training programs and company events, support the new hire onboarding process, and manage full‑cycle recruitment strategies, including developing an annual calendar of recruitment events and representing the company at recruitment events.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as an in‑house trainer and facilitator for all internal company training courses and events.
  • Support and facilitate company developmental training programs: CBO offsite, PMD program, RMDP.
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and facilitation of annual company events, including the annual kickoff.
  • Organize and facilitate the Mission Bank University Training program by supporting calendar creation, content development, logistics coordination, and facilitation.
  • Oversee and coordinate training logistics, including reserving meeting space, sending communication, preparing training material, placing food orders, etc.
  • Oversee the onboarding process by taking care of initial communication, new hire checklist, electronic new‑hire packets, HRIS set‑up, clothes ordering, etc.
  • Oversee recruitment activities for the Bank, developing recruitment strategies and staying informed of employee‑marketplace trends.
  • Develop talent‑sourcing networks and manage talent‑marketing systems.
  • Create and own the annual calendar of recruitment events for the bank and manage all recruitment efforts.
  • Serve as the company representative at various recruitment events and partner with others in the company.
  • Plan and manage employee engagement events, overseeing program structure, communication, etc.
  • Maintain, update, and standardize job descriptions to ensure alignment with organizational structure, regulatory requirements, and evolving business needs.
  • Assist with tracking new hires’ Gantt‑chart progress (onboarding plans) by scheduling and conducting frequent check‑in meetings with managers.
  • Set up employee users in Omega classes (credit/commercial lending training, e‑learning platform), track employee progress and tests, and effectively communicate results with managers.
  • Support content development for staff monthly meetings by collaborating with other departments.
  • Assist with org chart maintenance.
  • Support with ad‑hoc training and recruitment activities, and special projects.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, or a related field and at least 1 year of experience in training coordination and facilitation; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to effectively train and instruct others in a formal classroom or one‑on‑one environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High level of proficiency with systems such as applicant‑tracking systems, Linked In Recruiter, and HRIS is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and employment levels within and outside the bank on matters of a confidential or sensitive nature.
  • Excellent project‑management skills, including planning and organizational skills.
  • Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple initiatives.

Target Compensation: $72,000 annually, depending on experience.
