The employment development department (edd) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual to work in the it procurement group (itpg) within the itb.

under the direction of the it supervisor ii, the it procurement specialist performs the more complex and sensitive procurement tasks, that will require regular innovative problem solving within broadly stated guidelines. This role involves leading efforts to develop, plan, organize, coordinate, and maintain tasks such as:

• developing procurement documents, including solicitations, work authorizations, amendments, and related materials.
• analyzing and evaluating complex it solicitations and vendor responses.
• acting as a liaison between the department and both internal and external entities.

this position may be eligible for telework under edd's telework policy, which would require access to high-speed internet at the location telework is performed. Employees are required to report to their headquarters' office, as needed. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee.
