This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying hands-on technically while leading a small team. You'll spend roughly 50% of your time managing, mentoring, and developing a team of two IT professionals, and 50% providing technical leadership by supporting infrastructure, resolving complex issues, and driving technology initiatives. - Provide hands-on support for the organization's network, servers, infrastructure, systems, and end-user technology
- Serve as the technical escalation point for complex infrastructure and operational issues
- Plan, prioritize, and execute IT projects, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
- Oversee system performance, network reliability, cybersecurity, backups, and disaster recovery
- Balance day-to-day operational support with long-term technology planning and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with business leaders and IT teams across multiple locations to standardize processes and deliver scalable technology solutions
- Manage vendor relationships, hardware lifecycle, software licensing, and IT budgeting
- 3+ years of experience leading or supervising an IT team
- Strong hands-on background supporting enterprise infrastructure, networking, Windows servers, virtualization, and end-user technologies
- Proven ability to balance technical responsibilities with team leadership and project management
- Experience leading infrastructure upgrades, implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- Ability to travel occasionally to support other company locations
