Export Documentation Clerk

Salary: $24-26 per hour + full benefits package

Key Responsibilities for the Export Documentation Clerk:
  • Prepare and process export documentation in compliance with country-specific requirements and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve documentation discrepancies and shipping-related issues.
  • Maintain organized documentation files and electronic records.
  • Track incoming wire payments and communicate payment information to internal departments.
  • Manage receivables by monitoring shipments, recording delivery milestones, and communicating with customers and agents.
  • Support special projects and provide reception desk coverage when needed.
Qualifications for the Export Documentation Clerk:
  • Minimum one year of experience in invoicing, documentation, or international shipping.
  • Experience with Letters of Credit and Shipping Instructions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of export documentation processes and international shipping procedures.
  • Familiarity with ports, shipping destinations, and global logistics.
  • Cotton industry knowledge, including shipping terms, weight terms, and HVI terminology, is preferred.
