Base pay range: $24.00/hr - $24.00/hr

The Maintenance Technician assists with the maintenance of the physical plant and grounds to ensure a safe and efficient environment of care for patients, visitors, and employees. Additional responsibilities may include security and floor care as assigned.

Typical duties may include use and maintenance of equipment such as motor vehicles, outdoor equipment (lawn mowers, snow blowers), hand tools, ladders, vacuums, floor polisher, and related supplies; general office equipment operation; and adherence to safety practices.

Education, Training and Years of

Experience:

- High school graduate or equivalent work experience required.
- Previous experience in preventive maintenance and housekeeping preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

- Valid driver’s license may be required.
- No specific license or certification required (N/A).

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and push/pull at least 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work at height (ladders/scaffolds) and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to work in an indoor, temperature-controlled environment with occasional outdoor exposure.
- Ability to work around hazardous materials and in potentially stressful situations.

Skills and Abilities:

- Clear communication and ability to work independently.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, and meet deadlines.

Environmental Conditions:

Indoor, temperature-controlled, smoke-free environment with occasional outdoor exposure. May involve exposure to blood and body fluids. Handicapped accessible.

Safety/Compliance:
Adheres to the company’s Standards of Business Conduct; maintains current licensure and/or certifications if applicable.
