Basic Maintenance Technician and Custodian

Join the team at Jim Burke Ford Lincoln as a Basic Maintenance Technician and Custodian. The role ensures a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for staff and visitors, combining custodial duties with basic maintenance tasks to support overall facility functionality and appearance.

$18.00/hr - $22.00/hr

• Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and batteries
• Minor plumbing fixes (e.g., unclog drains, tighten fixtures)
• Basic carpentry and furniture assembly or repairs
• Touch‑up painting
• Fix door handles, hinges, or locks
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins; maintain proper waste disposal practices
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and report issues promptly
• Assist with event setup and breakdown (tables, chairs, equipment)
• Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies; request replenishment as needed
• Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies and procedures

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; or up to six months related experience or training
• Time‑management and organizational skills
• Problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Valid Driver License

Liftoff and movement up to 50 pounds; frequent standing, walking, and use of hands; occasional sitting and reaching; talk and hear required; vision and focus abilities as specified.

This full‑time position requires an 8‑hour shift Monday through Friday. Shift will be scheduled within one of the following time frames:

• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
