Corporate Controller

A well-established and growing organization in Kern County is conducting a confidential search for a Corporate Controller. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to build structure while supporting operational growth.

The Corporate Controller will lead the accounting function, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and serve as a key financial partner to executive leadership. This role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while driving process improvements and strengthening internal controls.

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and account analysis
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and audit requirements
• Coordinate and manage external audits
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• Supervise and mentor accounting team
• Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy and decision-making

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• CPA strongly preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
