Under the direction of the Research and Student Development Director, this position is responsible for managing and implementing activities of the Community Health Aide Program (CHAP) Tribal Planning and Implementation (TPI) Grant Program. The CHAP TPI Manager will be responsible for supervising and ensuring that the CHAP TPI team is aligned with the program goals, objectives and activities timeline and reporting.

The CHAP TPI manager coordinates activities of the full CHAP team; clinical and CHAP TPI support staff. Activities include; student support activities; education/outreach events and mini symposiums, student recruitment and training, educational material development, collaboration with academic partners, pilot learning lab and satellite school; and program cultural alignment.

• 1. Manage the daily operations of the department, or sub-section of the department.
• 2. Direct and participate in the development, interpretation, evaluation, and recommendation of department policies, procedures, rules, and regulations for the effective operation of programs and services. Engage and participate in continuous quality initiative (CQI) activities, including data collection, monitoring, and reporting.
• 3. Work with the department director to create short- and long-term department goals and objectives that align with organizational strategies. Implement and monitor strategic action plans and goal achievement, communicate outcomes to subordinate employees.
