What You’ll Be Responsible For In This Role
  • Coordinate daily activities of the assigned workforce, shifts, and production units.
  • Assign and direct work, inspect equipment, monitor productivity, and resolve complaints.
  • Adhere to and support quality regulations, GMPs, and SOPs.
  • Cultivate a safety‑focused, positive work environment and ensure compliance with CAP and sanitation procedures.
  • Supervise, motivate, and develop assigned area personnel.
  • Review production, maintenance, and shipping timetables; coordinate with department supervisors.
  • Monitor pasteurizer temperatures to ensure product meets quality specifications.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance staff to meet specifications.
  • Maintain manual and computerized records (material inventory, preventative maintenance logs, production reports, material status).
  • Monitor the JDE WO system to ensure all components are issued to work orders for accurate cost accounting.
  • Monitor movement/transportation of materials within departments and conveyor systems.
  • Arrange for repair and assembly of materials or parts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training.
  • Relevant training and certifications for assigned department and duties.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Knowledge of e‑mail, internet software, manufacturing software, and word‑processing software.

  • Ability to interact with a diverse employee population and internal/external customers professionally.
  • Pro‑active mindset with good judgment under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Experience in food manufacturing.
Physical Demands
  • Stand for prolonged periods.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in freezer and cold, wet, and/or humid conditions.
Hours & Workdays
  • 3rd shift (10:00 pm – 6:30 am) Monday through Sunday with rotating days off; overtime and weekends may be required.
