What You’ll Be Responsible For In This Role
  • Coordinate daily activities of assigned workforce, shifts, and production units
  • Assign and direct work, conduct equipment inspections, monitor productivity, address complaints, and resolve problems
  • Adhere to and support quality regulations and policies in accordance with GMPs and SOPs
  • Cultivate a safety-focused, positive work environment and ensure compliance with CAP and proper sanitation procedures
  • Supervise, motivate, and develop assigned area personnel
  • Review production, maintenance and shipping timetables and coordinate daily work activities with department supervisors
  • Monitor pasteurizer temperatures to ensure product meets company and customer quality specifications
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance staff to ensure operations meet specifications
  • Maintain manual and computerized records such as material inventory, preventative maintenance logs, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials
  • Monitor JDE WO system to ensure all components are issued to work orders for accurate cost accounting
  • Monitor movement/transportation of materials within departments and conveyor systems
  • Arrange for repair and assembly of materials or parts
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training
  • Appropriate training and certifications relevant to the assigned department and duties
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of e‑mail, internet software, manufacturing software, and Word Processing software

  • Pro‑active mindset with the ability to apply common sense and good judgment under minimal supervision

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in freezer and cold, wet and/or humid conditions
Hours & Workdays

1st Shift (6:00am – 2:30pm) Monday through Sunday with rotating days off; overtime and weekend work may be required.
