Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab Educator role in an acute care hospital setting, requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience and a CA RN license.

Job Details

• Acute care hospital Cardiac Cath Lab setting,

• Role focuses on staff education, orientation, and training within the Cath Lab department,

• Cerner EMR in use,

• 13-week contract,

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday,

• Every other weekend required,

• First to float policy applies,

• No on-call responsibilities,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (pending licenses not accepted),

• Current ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications required (pending certifications not accepted),

• Minimum 4 years of RN experience required,

• Background in critical care or procedural areas required,

• Prior educational or staff development experience required,

• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire,

• Copy of driver's license required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Serves as a mentor and educational resource for both nursing and radiology tech staff in the Cath Lab,

• Responsible for overseeing department orientation and training, and maintaining staff competency in quality patient care,

• Works closely with department leadership to assess and plan for staff development needs,

• Manager interview required,

• Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any Common Spirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year; candidates previously employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
