Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse - L&D to work at a facility in Bakersfield, CA. These are registry positions with our company. Gross weekly pay: 2455.88 Stipend (untaxed) 1442.00 Taxable 1013.88

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse - L&D in an acute care setting
A valid and current LPN license issued within the US
A valid and current CPR card
Experience in ER, Psychiatric, MS or Clinic
Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor mothers and babies before, during, and after labor
Assist doctors during childbirth and delivery procedures
Administer medications, including pain relief and IV fluids
Track vital signs of mother and baby
Provide emotional support and education to mothers and families
Prepare delivery rooms and sterilize equipment
Monitor fetal heart rates and contractions
Record and update patient medical information
Assist with newborn care immediately after birth
Respond quickly to emergencies such as complications during labor
