• Deliver coordinated nursing care for obstetric patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other disciplines
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team; document care and outcomes in the medical record
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to policy; participate in handoffs and discharge planning as appropriate

• Current, unrestricted RN license to practice in California or eligibility for licensure as an RN in California
• Experience in labor and delivery or obstetric nursing preferred
• Ability to work 12‑hour night shifts and participate in a travel assignment schedule
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must meet credentialing requirements for the assignment
