We’re looking for someone to join our team as an Employee Wellness LVN who:

An Employee Health Licensed Vocational Nurse is a licensed health professional who will perform employee care, technical, and supportive services under general supervision in the Human Resources Department. The Employee Health LVN supports the organization’s philosophy and complies with the protocols, policies, and procedures.

• Perform functions as prescribed by the Medical Director following established protocols, policies, and procedures within their scope of education, training, and responsibilities for all employees.
• Assess and monitor employees’ conditions and notify the Medical Director for disposition.
• If state certified, initiate and maintain intravenous solutions as directed by the Medical Director following established protocols.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; identify and arrange for equipment needing repair.
• Apply principles of aseptic technique and infection control.
• Monitor employee flow and assign or direct other personnel as needed.
• Provide medical information and education to all employees following established protocols and policies.
• Document pertinent employee information, assessment, and nursing procedures following established protocols, maintaining confidentiality.
• Ensure documentation is dated, legible, and signed with the first initial, last name, and title; answer all pre-printed prompts.
• On a temporary basis, may be required to work at any satellite facility.
• Perform other duties as directed.
• Demonstrate clinical knowledge and skill in the care of employees.
• Facilitate the practice of the Medical Director.
• Perform routine clerical functions as assigned (e.g., making appointments, telephone calls).
• Complete employee health visits per organization policy protocols.
• Participate in employee health preventative screenings (TB, influenza, hepatitis B, varicella, MMR, and Tdap immunizations).
• Monitor and coordinate annual health screening requirements (TB screening, influenza vaccine).
• Maintain and ensure confidentiality of employee health information.
• Perform N95 mask fit testing.
• Work closely with HR and the Infection Control Nurse on communicable disease exposure and blood borne pathogen exposure follow‑up.

• Graduation from an accredited School of Vocational Nursing.
• Current California Vocational Nurse license required.
• Current IV certification preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support card issued through the American Heart Association required.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Three years of experience in the nursing field required; five years preferred.
