Role Overview
Provides coordinated nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to established standards and the nursing process. Supervises and directs nursing staff activities, collaborates with healthcare teams, and utilizes critical thinking and independent judgment to deliver safe, effective care.
Key Responsibilities- Collects and analyzes patient data to develop and implement care plans aimed at achieving optimal outcomes.
- Coordinates care delivery, promotes health, and ensures a safe environment.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver compassionate, holistic care.
- Participates in discharge planning and provides education to patients and families.
- Delegates tasks appropriately and oversees team performance.
- Performs additional duties as assigned to support patient care and team functions.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the practicing state; CPR/BLS certification required.
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification preferred.
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and experience in acute care settings.
