• Provide professional nursing care to patients across the age spectrum on the Med‑Surg unit
• Assess patient needs and perform ongoing data collection across physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive domains, including education and advocacy
• Formulate and implement a goal‑directed plan of care, updating the plan in collaboration with the patient and family
• Document clearly and accurately in the electronic medical record; communicate changes in condition and treatment to the care team
• Collaborate with the health‑care team, delegate appropriately, and assist with orientation and training of new staff and students as needed

• Active Registered Nurse license to practice in California
• Ability to meet hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements; compliance with E‑Verify
• Relevant Med‑Surg nursing experience or demonstrated competency in medical‑surgical care
• Ability to work in a hospital Med‑Surg setting and on a 3×12‑hour day shift schedule
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient‑ and family‑centered care
