Shift Type: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating weekends (4 weekend shifts per month)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

- Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population including adults and pediatrics
- Perform triage and manage patient flow in a high-volume ER with approximately 325 visits per day
- Collaborate with physicians, mid-levels, and techs to deliver efficient, compassionate care
- Manage own ER holds and provide procedural sedation as needed
- Float between Adult and Peds ER based on patient needs
- Utilize Cerner EMR and Philips telemetry for accurate documentation and monitoring
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
- No first-time travelers - must have prior travel experience
- Experience with both adult and pediatric emergency populations (approx 50% pediatric)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Triage experience is a must
- Willing to float within the ER department
- Strong skills in emergency nursing, including trauma, STEMI, stroke, and pediatric emergencies
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records
- Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and EKGs
- Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with high patient volumes and rapid decision-making
