Staff Nurse, Charge Nurse
Role:
Provides coordinated nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to established standards and the nursing process. Supervises and directs nursing staff activities, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and utilizes critical thinking and professional judgment to deliver safe, effective care.
Responsibilities:Collects and analyzes patient data, develops and implements care plans, and evaluates patient outcomes. Participates in discharge planning, delegates tasks appropriately, and educates patients and families. Ensures a safe, healing environment and promotes health and safety strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:Requires RN licensure in the practice state, with certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Preferred candidates hold a BSN and have experience in acute care settings. Strong critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership skills are essential.
Key Duties:Assess patient health, develop care strategies, coordinate multidisciplinary care, monitor progress, and provide education. Performs other related duties as needed to support patient well‑being and team effectiveness.
