Registered Nurse – ICU

ICU Nurse Position

Provides comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients, ensuring high-quality outcomes through clinical expertise and compassionate patient interaction. Supervises and collaborates with the healthcare team to coordinate care in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions by collecting relevant health data and analyzing assessment outcomes.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs and clinical goals.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate responses to treatment, and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to licensed and unlicensed staff, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.
• Preferably have experience in an ICU or acute care setting.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is required or must be obtained.
• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) for preferred qualification.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
