American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a CA RN license and EPIC experience.
Details- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of an acute care hospital
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Shift options of 36 or 48 hours per week
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Active RN license in the state of California required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS or ALS, NRP or NALS
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty required
- Recent experience in the specialty within the last 3 months required
- EPIC experience must be documented in employment history
- Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate patient outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe and compassionate care
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
- Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
- Local candidates accepted with no radius rule, and local rates match travel rates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
- Traveler may only be submitted to one hospital within the health system at a time
