Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Bakersfield, California. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery department, following established care standards and utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment. The role includes supervising nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines in a fast-paced acute care setting.

  Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN); registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice;
  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor;
  Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification; AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; ARC-Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification;
  Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification;
  Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule:
  
  Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  Roles include collecting relevant patient data, analyzing assessment data, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating progress, collaborating with patients and healthcare teams, providing health education, and participating in discharge planning.
• Certifications:
  
  Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, and ARC-ALS.
• Submission Requirements:
  Candidates must be licensed and certified as listed, with EPIC experience required. Floating to other units may be required as needed.
