• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.
• Utilizes critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in planning and delivering patient care.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and patient responses in accordance with policy and standards.

• ICU nursing experience is implied by the specialty and duties of this role.
