American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift position requiring a CA RN license, fetal heart monitoring certification, and prior L&D experience.
Details- Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital
- Night shift schedule, 36 or 48 hours per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Floating required to Delano as needed
- EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- ACLS (AHA) or ALS (ARC) certification required
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
- NRP (AHA) or NALS (ARC) certification required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required, with recent experience within the last 3 months
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses, care plans, and interventions
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote a safe and healing environment
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate healthcare team duties
- Holiday RTO will not be approved
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior licensure or certification issue will not be considered
