American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a CA RN license, ACLS/ALS, Fetal Heart Monitoring, and NRP/NALS certification.
Requirements- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior hits on license permitted
- Labor and Delivery unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule with 36 or 48 hour options, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- EPIC experience highly preferred
- Floating required to Delano as needed
- Holiday RTO will not be approved
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervises and directs nursing staff activities and coordinates care across disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment
- Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and develop care plans
- Implements care plans, evaluates patient progress, and adjusts strategies to promote a safe healing environment
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, humane, and caring treatment
- Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning for continuity of care
- Delegates duties appropriately among healthcare team members
- Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
- Accepts local candidates with no radius rule and local rates matching travel rates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will be automatically declined
