Summary:

The Quality Assurance Lab Technician II provides assistance for the Quality Assurance laboratory with various Quality initiatives

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Assists in obtaining supplies and calibrating equipment;
  • Analyzing production samples and raw material samples for physical and chemical characteristics;
  • Investigate quality and production issues including customer complaints per supervisor requests;
  • Prepare samples for internal and external customers as requested;
  • Maintain quality production records in a timely manner;
  • Ensure adherence to appropriate government regulations and company procedures;
  • Any ad-hoc task or project assigned by management; quality or production related;

Education/

Experience:

High School or GED desired;
Two (2) years Manufacturing or Lab experience, a plus;
Demonstrated high level of computer experience;
Demonstrated good communication skills;
Valid Drivers License; (no driving is required but someone who is forklift certified would be a plus)

Computer

Skills:

Ability and knowledge in Microsoft office applications (word, excel, and power point);
Ability and knowledge in LIMS Software

Ability to pay close attention to detail for accuracy and thoroughness in completing work;
