We are seeking a self-motivated, confident individual with a history of over achievement. This position is an industrial business-to-business sales role, suited for candidates with technical sales experience in the chemical, coating, adhesive, or sealant industries
.
- Territory: Central California; must live in the Territory;
Fresno Modesto, Madara, and Bakersfield area preferred - Compensation: Competitive base salary + existing commission ($60K) + 10% of revenue on new sales (uncapped commission structure!!)
- Business Mix: 70-80% new business development
- Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new customers to expand the overall customer base and strengthen market presence.
- Build lasting partnerships with current customers while increasing sales, profitability, and long‑term value.
- Continuously assess customer goals, challenges, and opportunities to deliver tailored solutions that support their success.
- Develop strong, influential relationships with key decision‑makers across all organizational levels.
- Leverage digital tools, industry events, trade shows, and inbound leads to create a robust pipeline of prospective accounts.
- Create and present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and position Applied Adhesives as the preferred partner.
- Build detailed customer plans and growth strategies for high‑value accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with Marketing, Purchasing, Customer Service, and other departments to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Technical sales experience within the chemical manufacturing industry; coatings, adhesives, or sealants experience required
- Associate's degree required;
Bachelor's degree preferred - Self‑starter with a strong hunter mentality, able to proactively pursue and close new business
- Minimum of 3 years in business development, with a focus on generating new customers and revenue growth
- Familiarity with Challenger or Sandler sales methodologies
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
