Chavez Media is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Media Sales Consultant to represent KNAI 101.9FM and our growing portfolio of digital marketing solutions. This role is ideal for a sales professional who understands the power of local media and can help businesses connect with audiences through radio, digital advertising, social media, streaming, events, and integrated marketing campaigns.

The Media Sales Consultant will be responsible for prospecting new clients, developing marketing strategies, presenting advertising solutions, and building long‑term partnerships with local and regional businesses. This is a multimedia sales position focused on helping clients grow their brand, reach new customers, and achieve measurable results.

• Develop and manage a portfolio of local and regional advertising clients.
• Sell integrated marketing campaigns that include radio advertising, digital marketing, social media, streaming audio, event sponsor ships, and other Chavez Media products.
• Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling, and community engagement.
• Meet with business owners and decision‑makers to understand their goals, challenges, target audience, and marketing needs.
• Create customized advertising proposals that combine the reach of KNAI 101.9FM with digital marketing strategies.
• Present campaign recommendations clearly and professionally to clients.
• Build strong, long‑term relationships with advertisers and become a trusted marketing consultant.
• Work with internal teams to ensure campaigns are scheduled, produced, launched, and delivered accurately.
• Track client activity, proposals, revenue, and sales pipeline.
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
• Stay informed on local market trends, business developments, competitive media, and digital advertising opportunities.
• Represent KNAI 101.9FM and Chavez Media professionally at client meetings, community events, station promotions, and networking opportunities.

• Prior experience in media sales, advertising, digital marketing, radio sales, or business-to-business sales preferred.
• Strong understanding of local business marketing needs.
• Ability to sell both traditional radio and digital marketing solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Comfortable prospecting and developing new business.
• Self‑motivated, organized, goal‑oriented, and able to manage multiple clients and campaigns.
• Ability to create consultative sales proposals and explain marketing concepts in a clear, practical way.
• Knowledge of the Phoenix market and multicultural audiences is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are strongly preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
