GENERAL SUMMARY
Manages and leads the operations and business development of a Credit Union branch(es). Coaches direct reports on their performance and develops skills to consistently deliver an exceptional member experience and deepen member relationships.
Position Duties & Functions
- Coaches and models consistent, exceptional member experience activities and behaviors.
- Develops and trains staff through observations, feedback, and coaching. Evaluates the work of team members and conducts performance appraisals.
- Achieves branch growth targets and objectives through proactive activities to build relationships with members and grow new memberships.
- Leads and fosters business relationships with our sponsors and/or SEGs within the field of membership in partnership with business development.
- Works closely with the business development team and additional partners to host acquisition events, make presentations, and drive new business.
- Ensures branch(es) are compliant with all policies and procedures, while constantly managing risk.
- May assist members with financial transactions including working with cash and checks and submitting and assisting with consumer loan applications and other member needs and requests.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
FURTHER ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Maintains complete confidentiality of member, employee, and Credit Union information.
- Ability to travel to event locations for growth opportunities.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION
- 3-5 years of branch leadership or other related financial services experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university strongly preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated qualifications.
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, conduct outreach, and execute sales and marketing activities.
- Persuasive, effective communication skills; ability to present products and services clearly in person and via digital channels.
- Ability to plan and execute onsite events and member acquisition activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent customer service skills; organized follow-up and time management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Work involves extensive use of computers, up to eight hours per day. Appropriate vision, dexterity, and other physical abilities are required.
- May include occasional pushing, pulling, or carrying objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to speak and present on the telephone and/or through digital means of communication, including but not limited to Zoom/Teams/or other video technologies.
