Flex Security Officer

Garda World Security Services is hiring a Flex Security Officer. The role requires reliability, adaptability, and full flexibility across days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Bakersfield, California. Applicants must be available for any day or shift as scheduling needs may vary.

• $19 per hour with Daily Pay available for Garda World employees.

• Patrol rail yards, facilities, and surrounding property using company vehicle.
• Conduct perimeter checks, monitor access points, and inspect fences, gates, railcars, and buildings for tampering or suspicious activity.
• Deter theft, vandalism, and other criminal activity through a visible security presence.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies; coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services.
• Write detailed incident and activity reports.
• Ensure compliance with client safety protocols, security policies, and federal regulations.
• Monitor and report hazardous conditions that may impact rail operations.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after use of the company vehicle.

• Flexible availability: work any day, including weekends and holidays, and any shift (day, swing, overnight).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and hold a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and 32-hour BSIS security trainings.
• Ability to think quickly, adapt to changing situations, and problem solve.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Previous Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
