Electrical Foreman
Lead and supervise field crews on industrial, commercial, and agricultural electrical projects. Plan and execute daily work activities using drawings, schedules, and project requirements. Install, terminate, and troubleshoot MCCs, switch gear, transformers, panels, motors, VFDs, soft starters, and various conduit systems. Read and interpret one-line diagrams, electrical schematics, construction drawings, and specifications. Coordinate manpower, tools, materials, and equipment, while maintaining OSHA-compliant and site-specific safety protocols.
Communicate clearly with project managers, inspectors, general contractors, and clients. Track progress, document reports, and identify labor and material needs. Mentor and develop journeymen and apprentices, ensuring work meets NEC, local codes, and company quality standards.

- Install, terminate, and troubleshoot electrical components and systems.
- Read and interpret electrical and construction documentation.
- Coordinate manpower, tools, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain safety protocols compliant with OSHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Track project progress and document reports.
- Mentor and develop journeymen and apprentices.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and company standards.
- 7+ years of industrial/commercial electrical experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a foreman or lead electrician.
- Ability to run work independently in industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of industrial power distribution, motor controls, and MCCs.
- Computer literacy for basic reporting and documentation.
- Strong leadership and crew-management skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, and build from drawings/prints.
- Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $55.00/hr.
