Electric Utility Worker

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Perform construction work in the field, in all weather conditions
• Use and maintain various hand and power tools
• Follow the direction of their journey line worker or supervisor
• Must work safely at all times as defined by PG&E's safety standards

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess a High School diploma or GED
• Must possess a valid Class C California Driver's License
• Ability to work in all types of weather extremes
• Ability to drive safely in all weather and road conditions
• Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to travel and transfer to a new headquarters upon request
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in a confined space and elevated areas

Demonstrates the ability to perform construction work safely and effectively in various weather conditions while utilizing hand and power tools. Capable of adhering to safety standards and managing physical demands of the role, including lifting and working in confined spaces.
