NRSS is seeking a Roadway Worker In Charge (RWIC) in Bakersfield, CA to support flagging and on-site safety for Class 1 railroads and contractors. This full-time role requires a High School Diploma, at least 2 years in railroad operations, and travel 50%–85% as needed.
You will coordinate job sites, communicate with dispatch and crews, enforce policies, and complete daily field reports while maintaining On-Track Safety per 49 CFR 214. NRSS emphasizes safety and reliability.
