Commercial Driver - Class A CDL

Job Summary

Commercial Driver (Full‑Time) in Bakersfield, California. Responsibilities include picking up and delivering hazardous waste and/or material such as crude oil, gas oil, and other products at various customer locations. The driver may operate a cargo tank.

• Operate commercial motor vehicle and associated equipment safely.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Comply with all statutory, regulatory requirements, and company policy.
• Complete appropriate paperwork and forms, including manifest, shipping, and receiving documents.
• Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor at all times on shift.
• Load and unload truck, which may include hazardous waste and/or materials.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and other employees.
• Use good judgment in making decisions in emergency and routine situations.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Commercial Class A Driver's License with Hazmat, TSA, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements.
• At least 2 years of experience driving a commercial vehicle and maintaining a Commercial Class A driver's license.
• Tanker experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Manual and Automatic Transmission required.

Friday through Tuesday (possible adjustment). Start times may vary between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM, depending on operational needs.
