Flatbed Class A CDL OTR Driver – Bakersfield, CA

System Transport is hiring experienced CDL‑A flatbed truck drivers for regional and over‑the‑road (OTR) routes. The role involves transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals across the western region of America.

Location:

Bakersfield, CA (Home Time 3 weeks out, 3 days off). Division: 200.

• Operate a flatbed truck safely and efficiently on OTR routes.
• Load and secure cargo, ensuring compliance with weight, size, and hazard regulations.
• Complete accurate trip logs and reports.
• Adhere to all company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 4 months of driving experience; preference for 1 year.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Clean driving record.
• No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years.
• Background check, drug test, and clearinghouse result required.
• Physically able to lift a 90‑pound tarp onto a 5‑ft high platform.

• Weekly Pay: $1,171.40 – $2,106.07.
• Annual Pay: $60,912.97 – $.
• Flatbed OTR Rate: $0.55 – $0.60 per mile.
• Accessorials: tarp pay, stop pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, over‑dimensional pay.
• Transition package: $1,800 (includes $1,000 for orientation).
