Job Requirements and Duties

You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards. You must also have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery. Useful navigational skills are required to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings.

Qualifications
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
  • Orientation and training provided on the job.
  • Communication skills: comprehend and give correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
  • Essential functions:

    add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator); make correct monetary change; take and process orders via phone, computer keyboard, or touch screen.
  • Motor coordination: rapid and accurate movements with speed.
  • Enter orders using computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions

Employees may be exposed to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks, in‑store temperatures ranging from 36° to 90° or higher, sudden temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing
  • Talking and hearing on telephone.
  • Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments

Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements
  • Standing: most tasks are performed from a standing position.
  • Walking: for short distances and durations.
  • Sitting: paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
  • Lifting: bulk product deliveries, typically weighing up to 50 pounds, using a hand truck.
  • Carrying: large cans, pizza sauce, trays of pizza dough, and other items with specified weights and dimensions.
  • Pushing and pulling: trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
  • Climbing: stairs or ladders for changing signs, washing walls, or performing maintenance.
