Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation coordination, logistics, dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or related fields
  • Bilingual Spanish/English required
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience coordinating multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience working with transportation scheduling systems or logistics software
  • Knowledge of transportation operations, routing, and vendor coordination
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Transportation and scheduling software (such as Trip Master or similar platforms)
  • Data entry, reporting, and recordkeeping systems
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily transportation activities, including scheduling, routing, dispatching, and service tracking
  • Communicate with transportation providers, vendors, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor transportation performance and service levels to ensure timely and efficient delivery
  • Assist with vendor management, service evaluations, and contract administration
  • Support transportation budgeting and cost-control initiatives
  • Maintain accurate transportation records, invoices, billing information, and performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, organizational policies, and transportation requirements
  • Resolve transportation-related issues and respond promptly to service concerns
  • Manage vehicle schedules and help ensure operational readiness
  • Prepare reports, analyze transportation data, and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Support special projects and other departmental initiatives as assigned
