Shipping & Receiving Parts

Job Description

Our Shipping & Receiving staff are responsible for accepting and logging all deliveries for the dealership and for maintaining organization and control of the stockroom areas. Staff members will offload products from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment and will ensure that all products are placed in the appropriate locations in the stockroom areas following all safety guidelines. In addition, he/she will prepare outgoing shipments for various vendors.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong organizational skills, and good computer skills. Candidates must be able to physically move and organize deliveries and work a flexible schedule that includes some Saturdays.

• Receives deliveries and stock and verifies accuracy of the delivery against invoice
• Offloads product from trucks using forklift, pallet jacket, or other equipment
• Sorts and places parts
• Maintains work area in a neat and organized manner
• Follows all safety guidelines
• Handles routine questions and requests by staff and customers
• Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One year of relevant experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Highly professional and dependable
• Quality conscious and detail-oriented
• Strong work ethic and good people skills
• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift heavy objects
• Good computer and internet skills
• Must be able to use a forklift and other equipment

M-F 7:30 am - 4:30 pm and

Some Saturdays 7:30-11:30 once open

M-F 7-4 (Saturday's occasionally and OT as needed)

An 8 hour shift between 6:30-5:30 M-F, OT as needed
