Job Overview
Essential Functions:
Including but not limited to the following:
- Ability to perform strategic planning and priority setting for a billing department
- Ability to improve process efficiencies and solving problems
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Audits current procedures to monitor and improve efficiency of billing
- Ensures that the activities of the billing operations are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall department protocol, and follow Federal, State, and payer regulations, guidelines, and requirements
- Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes
- Month-end closing of the billing group information
- Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes
- Prepares and analyzes accounts receivable reports and weekly and monthly financial reports.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership skills and attributes
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, particularly Excel
Currently supervising a team of 7 company billers and expected to grow in 2027
Required Education, Certification, Licenses and Experience- The ideal candidate will have education and/or experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in an Accounting role
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience with Vista Viewpoint a plus
- Experience with billing in ERP financial systems, such as SAP, JD Edwards, Viewpoint Vista or similar systems
