Field Mechanic III

Location: Balch Springs, TX 75180

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime eligible)

Pay: $29 – $36 per hour, paid weekly; discretionary quarterly performance bonus

• Inspect, service, and test equipment ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine service on equipment including checking fluid levels, changing fluid, and lubricating.
• Perform novice-level welding repairs (MIG & SMAW).
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair, including warranty records.

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a diesel mechanic with a construction equipment or rental background.
• Proficient troubleshooting and diagnosing skills with electrical, hydraulic systems, diesel engines, including Tier 4 and aftertreatment systems.
• Experience performing major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive trains.
• Have necessary tools (average $10,000+) to perform the job.
• Experience with industrial pumps, power equipment, HVAC is a plus.
• TWIC or Safety Council OSHA Basic Plus certification preferred; must obtain if not held.
• Basic computer knowledge for service work orders, parts ordering, and service-related tasks.
• Team player, self‑starter, motivated to be successful; career growth available.
