The Baldwin Park Unified School District is recruiting for an Instructional Aide
- Special Education. Under the direction of a Special Education Teacher or other certificated employee, the employee will assist in implementing the instructional programs for students' special needs. Additionally, the employee will assist in meeting special needs which may include feeding, toileting, positioning, and monitoring the health conditions of a medically involved student. The employee will relieve the teacher of routine clerical duties and perform other duties as required.

The selection process tentatively consists of the District application review, pass the Districts instructional proficiency exam, and interviews. The Human Resources Department will contact all applicants once the selection process has been finalized.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Pass the BPUSD district instructional aide examination
- Or completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher education or an associate's degree or higher in lieu of taking the BPUSD exam (must provide proof)
Preference:
Special Education experience.
REQUIRED LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATES:
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency.
