Responsible for performing manual fabrication operations, as well as operating basic machine shop tools and other fabrication machinery, to produce parts within an expected timeframe.

• Operates a variety of machines, tools and equipment – primarily hydraulic or pneumatic presses, bench grinders, abrasive blasting machines, vibratory tumblers, rotary deburring and polishing tools – and may also handle lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, and manual operations to produce, assemble or test parts per instructions, blueprints or other technical drawings.
• Maintains and performs routine maintenance on machines utilized.
• Evaluates parts or material by measuring with appropriate instruments and performs simple testing to validate that parts or material conform to requirements.
• Documents information as required per work instructions and reports any discrepancies to the supervisor, lead, or engineer.
• Maintains a safe work environment and adheres to all safety procedures and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Supports area organization and fosters a continuous improvement mindset.
• Adheres to company policies and promotes a healthy and positive work culture.

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

• 0-3 years of recent working experience in CNC Lathe.

• Ability to read engineering blueprints and plans.
• Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, strong multitasking ability, and a willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
• Well organized, works well with others, and flexible.
• Broad skill set and not afraid to tackle multiple tasks.
• Ability to use inspection tools to inspect parts.

This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be a U.S. Person – defined as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, U.S. National, Refugee, or Asylee.

Salary Range: $20‑23 per hour. Relocation assistance not available; only local candidates considered.
