CNC Machinist
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with setting up and operating conventional CNC mills and lathes, interpreting blueprints and engineering plans, and maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.
- Set up conventional CNC mills and lathes by installing and adjusting necessary components such as chucks, tools, and attachments.
- Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting operations, taking measurements, and troubleshooting processes.
- Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample work pieces.
- Use machine controls to retrieve programs from the network.
- Change cutting tools and workpiece locations during machining as specified in setup instructions.
- Measure work pieces for conformance to specifications and notify supervisors of tool wear or necessary adjustments.
- Perform all work in accordance with company procedures, safety standards, and ISO requirements.
Essential
Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing and CNC machining.
- Proficiency in setting up CNC mills and lathes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans.
- Familiarity with Haas machines and Fanuc controls.
- Experience with 3 – 5 axis machining.
- Competence in drilling, grooving, and cutting materials.
- Skills in parts inspection, particularly in the aerospace industry.
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- Aerospace experience is preferred, but not required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baldwin Park, CA.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $45.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
